Cylinder Honing
The right crosshatch for the rings you are actually running.
Bores honed to the correct finish for your ring package, so the engine seats properly and holds compression.
Request a QuoteHoning is not a cosmetic pass over the bore. The finish has to suit the ring package: cast, chrome and modern low-tension rings all want a different surface, and the wrong one shows up later as oil use and blow-by.
So we ask what rings are going in before we start, hone to that spec, and measure the bore afterwards rather than assuming the machine did what it was told.
Honing is included as part of a full rebuild, or can be done on its own if you are assembling the engine yourself.
